Okay, so I absolutely LOVE chocolate, which is why I literally
drool over this homemade hot fudge sauce; It is so rich and creamy. It has a chocolaty taste that will blow all store-bought hot fudge
sauces out of the water!
It is such a simple treat that can be drizzled over vanilla
ice cream within about 10 minutes.
This hot fudge makes 1-1½ cups, which is perfect for a get
together with friends, or really, let’s just be honest; it’s enough to only
last me about 2 days if I eat it myself!
Recipe:
3/4 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup butter (4 Tablespoons)
2/3 cup sugar
1- 5 oz can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
In a small, heavy saucepan melt butter and chocolate
chips.
Next add sugar.
Slowly add the evaporated milk, stirring frequently.
Bring fudge to a boil; then reduce heat. Let it boil gently over a low heat stirring
frequently for 8 minutes.
Remove from heat and immediately drizzle over ice cream.
Whatever you don’t scarf down the first time, you can save in the refrigerator for later!
Enjoy your Friday!
